The 40 Year Old Virgin is better than sex*

*having sex with me anyway, but I'm pretty sure most things are. I've been thinking a lot about it and really it's been all downhill since losing my virginity. I don't cry anymore like I did that first time, but really my first go was probably the best. I think it's because I did all the work. I was trying everything I ever imagined doing (which actually wasn't very much) and I really experimented...you know...changing speeds, changing the length of my thrusting etc, etc...well basically that was it, but hey I tried.
She said I'd get better, she lied, SHE LIED!

Now, I have it down to a science and I don't do any work at all. I'm bad...and let's not even get to oral sex...don't even go there...seriously, you'd get hurt.
Anyhoo, the movie was probably the most enjoyable movie I've ever seen. It was like mainlining brain candy. Mmmm...brain candy...

Human Suffering

I can't stand reality TV. The game show ones are bad enough, but the ones that follow some primadonna and film their lives make me wanna drink a bottle of bleach. y'know, newlyweds, osbornes, anna nicole, and especially minding the store which features pauly shore. I was tricked into watching 5 minutes because I was too lazy to find my remote after watching Family Guy. Basically Pauly doesn't have a career, but he still has more money than he knows what to do with and laments the fact that he still sleeps with a different teenage bimbo every night. Scary stuff.
I was scared for a while, but the fear led to anger, anger led to hate, and hate led to suffering.
I'm talking about the The Kathy Griffin Show. She's a self proclaimed D-lister, but still feels bad deep deep down inside when people treat her like one. One of the more entertaining aspects of the show is her husband, who leaches off of her. Instead of being a normal celebrity and having a lapdog, she carts him around to everything. He just dawdles behind her with a sad puppy dog look, but really he's a human tick that literally swells up as he feeds off her life essence (he's gained a hundred pounds since they met!). It's compelling television - compellivision, if you will, mainly because unlike other celebrities she actually works for a living. Whether it be a bit role on an award show or trying to shill her dvd's at suncoast, she's actually doing something for her money.

Thompson Drum Shop

Just started taking drum lessons from Floyd Thompson. He's been teaching for over 40 years. I've had other drum teachers before, but this guy is one of the best teachers I've ever had period.
He's crusty and disciplined but also encouraging and humorous. It's the perfect blend. One drum lesson from him is like 4 or 5 from someone else. He's a main reason why there are so many good drummers in the area.

Birthdays

It was my friend Colin's b-day yesterday. I can't remember b-days well, so maybe this blog will help me keep a record of all the b-days i'll forget.
My mom's b-day is aug, 23. I know this because she called me yesterday to remind me.
